1. Open Connect Broker and choose your broker. Brokers that place real orders today: Dhan, Zerodha, Angel One, Groww, Kotak Neo, Alice Blue, Shoonya, 5paisa, Samco, Zebu, IIFL Capital, Indiabulls Securities, Wisdom Capital, Composite Edge. Others show the exact reason they are not available yet.
2. Follow the steps shown for that broker to create API access in your broker account (client ID, API key/secret or a daily access token, depending on the broker).
3. Paste the details into CandleAlgo. They are encrypted and used only to call your broker on your behalf. Connecting reads your profile and funds; it never places an order and never starts an algo.
4. If your broker requires a static / allow-listed IP for API orders, register the dedicated trading IP shown on the Connect page in your broker account.
5. Run the connection test. A failure shows the broker's own reason (expired token, wrong client ID, segment not activated, IP not allowed) and what to do.
6. Tokens that expire daily must be renewed; the algo card and the notification centre tell you when that is needed.
