Paper Trading Disclaimer

Paper trading is a simulation. Paper results may differ materially from live trading because of liquidity, slippage, latency, brokerage charges, taxes, rejected orders and other real-market conditions.

Paper mode uses live market prices with virtual money. Fills are simulated at the price CandleAlgo sees when the rule triggers; there is no order book, no queue and no counterparty. Estimated charges are applied where the broker's charge model is known, but real brokerage, taxes and slippage vary.

A strategy that looks good on paper or in a backtest is not guaranteed to make money live. Use paper trading to check that the rules behave as you intended, then start live with small amounts.
